iPod Touch syncing with Ubuntu Linux

If you’ve wondered about using your iPod Touch with Linux, I’ve managed to find a rather nice wiki page that details how you can get your iPod Touch working with Ubuntu Linux. Amarok and gtkpod are linux-based tools that can be used to wirelessly sync music with the iPod Touch and iPhone, including adding, editing and playing tracks or playlists.
The instructions require some knowledge of using a unix-type shell, but even the most novice linux users should not have any problems. There are also details on setting up password-less ssh access for Amarok if typing your password on every connection doesn’t bother you.
