Untethered Jailbreak For iPhone/iPod Touch Via Safari Browser
Do you remember the jailbreak of iPhone firmware 1.x, where you do it by just visiting jailbreakme.com, that was the easiest jailbreak to perform. But now we can see the history repeating itself, as Chronic Dev Team has posted a video of jailbreaking iPhone 3GS through Safari Browser. This kind of jailbreak is known as “userland jailbreak”.
However, we are not sure whether this is really going to work or nor, as there are so many fake jailbreak videos on the net, but this particular video has received positive response from popular jailbreakers like MuscleNerd, also Joshua Hill from iPhone Dev Team claims that this video is genuine (we hope it is).
Developers have not announced its release date yet,but If we believe the rumors then this userland jailbreak can become available sometime in April.
