Send Free Messages from iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch: Ping!
Ping! is not a new entrant on iTunes, in fact this service was first launched for iPhone users, and now Gary Fung, developer of Ping!, has launched Ping! for iPad. Ping! for iPad is compatible with iPhone OS 3.2 or later, and can be used to send free messages to other iPad, or iPhone, or iPod Touch.
There is also an SMS function which works only with iPhone, but iPad and iPod Touch users can send messages with Ping! Moreover, You can also chat with your friends via Ping!.
(NOTE: Ping! should be installed on both iDevices.)
Ping! is available on iTunes AppStore. Ping! for iPad is priced at $2.99, while Ping! for iPhone-iPod Touch is priced at $0.99.
