iPhone Dev Team member MuscleNerd recently tweeted about the availability of first iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreak tool redsn0w 0.9.5 beta which is targeted towards developer community so that they test their jailbroken applications before iPhone OS 4.0 comes out.

This is jailbreak is for iPhone 3G and on Mac OS X only for the moment and works with iPhone 4.0 beta 1 firmware- download from here
For iPhone OS 4.0 Upgrade you will require UDID, if you mess up read how to downgrade from OS 4.0
