Jailbreaking can Cause Instability Issues: Apple
Obviously, Apple is not a supporter of jailbreaking, so in order keep their customers knowledgeable, Apple has recently published an article which tells you about the cons of jailbreaking.
If we listen to Apple then jailbreaking could do the following to your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad:
- Instability: Crashes and freezes of apps.
- Connectivity Issues: Sudden call drops, slow network speed etc.
- Disruption of Services: Some services can either stop working or could be slow or unreliable.
- Security Issues: Device can become more prone to attacks from hackers, malware and viruses.
- Less Battery Life: Usage of apps like backgrounder can result in short battery life.
- No Firmware Updates: A jailbreaked iPhone can have problems while updating its firmware, and can stop working.
First of all, we all know about these issues before Apple mentioned them, and second thing is that we have solutions for almost every problem which was mentioned above. If we talk on legal terms then according to EFF(Electronic Frontier Foundation), “the culture of tinkering is an important part of our innovation economy”, while Apple says it to be a copyright infringement.
