Fixing BigBoss Error on Cydia
When we open Cydia in our iPhone/iPod Touch then most of us are getting an error message, like the one shown in figure below:
This particular error is caused by BigBoss beta repo, and can be easily fixed by uninstalling this repo. If for some reason you fail to uninstall this repo via Cydia (this is explained later), then uninstall repo via SSH:
1. SSH iPhone/iPod Touch.
2. Go to /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ .
3. Find Cydia.list and copy it on your computer.
4. Open Copied Cydia.list in Notepad.5. Delete the address which begins with “deb” and ends with “/” .
Note: If you are facing errors of some other repos, then delete them as well.
6. Save the file and replace it via SSH.
How to uninstall repos in Cydia:
1. Open Cydia on your iPhone/iPod Touch.
2. Tap Manage, which is at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap Packages.
4. Now select the package you want to remove.
5. Tap Modify.
6. It will ask you to either reinstall, remove, or cancel the process. Select remove.
