AT&T Gets Micro SIM [Prepares for iPad 3G]

It has been reported that AT&T stores are getting Micro SIM supplies, and no doubt that all this is done because iPad 3G shipping has already started. Also, it is speculated that next gen iPhone will have a slot for micro SIM only. So, it is a nice move from AT&T to prepare in advance.

The only difference between micro SIM and mini SIM is that of size. Mini SIM have more plastic around the circuit, while micro SIM has small form factor, with circuit remaining the same.
From images it looks like you can either punch out a mini SIM or micro SIM, depending on your requirement. But, once you punch out micro SIM, then you will require some 3rd party adapter to use it as a regular SIM (read mini SIM).
However, we don’t know whether such adapter is available in the market or not? If not, then expect one soon.
