iPhone 4G/HD Screen Tested Under Microscope [960 x 640 IPS Panel Confirmed]
iPhone 4G/HD is not yet released, but still it has been around the globe, whether it was California, Italy, or Vietnam. Now, it was time for it to go to Czech Republic, and to be more precise, it actually went under a microscope this time.
This is what iPhone 4G and iPhone 3GS screen looks under a microscope:

Guys from SuperiPhone.cz claims that they have got their hands on the next-gen iPhone screen, and that they have tested it under a microscope. They shared their results, and confirmed that, according to the pixel count, iPhone 4G/HD screen will have a resolution of 960 x 640. Not only this, they also said that iPhone 4G/HD uses IPS panel instead of expected AMOLED screen.
The reason for using IPS could be because IPS panel provides better viewing angles. Also, it is easier to get bulk production of IPS panels, when compared to AMOLED.
Whatever, i would rather wait till 7th June, instead of believing these rumors. What about you?
