Reeder for iPad Submitted in AppStore for Approval

Ever since the iPad is launched, users are looking for a good feed reader app. Unfortunately, what we have came across till now is not comparable with Google Reader. But, it seems that things are going to change now.

Reeder is not a new entrant in AppStore. Last year it was released for iPhone/iPod Touch, and it received a warm welcome by the users.
Developer Silvio Rizzi has not converted iPhone/iPod Touch version into the iPad version, but he has made some significant changes in the app, which makes it better suited for iPad. He has introduced a control bar on the left, which allows you to go to unread items, favorites, unread and notes, and shared items. This control bar also have a sync button.

Reeder also included pinch and zoom feature, which Apple does not approve in third party apps, and i fear if Apple reject it because of this, as it did with WebAlbums. However, Reeder has another option where you can tap to zoom into an image.

Reeder works in both, landscape and portrait mode. However, it works best when used in portrait mode.
MacStories has got a detailed review of the app, and looks pretty satisfied with it. Reeder was submitted in AppStore three days ago. So, you can expect it to release very soon. iPad version of Reeder will be priced at $4.99, which is slightly higher than the iPhone/iPod Touch version.
