iOS 4 Unlock for iPhone 3GS: Blacksn0w RC2 [Released]

Blacksn0w, which is a well known unlock for iPhone 3.1.3, has been modified by the developer of PushFix 2.0 and released as the unlock for iOS 4 on iPhone 3GS baseband 05.11.07. In order to use Blacksn0w, you first need to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS with Pwnage Tool Bundles. This is what developer has to say about Blacksn0w RC2:

This is an unofficial release but Geohot HAS given me permission to redistribute blacksn0w. All known issues with WiFi loss and boot loops seem to be fixed. If it doesn’t work for some reason, you should still get the SpringBoard. This allows you to uninstall if necessary. It is a little slower to boot because of the increased safety of the release. A 3GS boots to cell connection established in about 90 seconds in iOS 4 now (50% slower than 3.1.X).

Improvements may be made in the future.

Step by step guide to unlock iPhone 3GS baseband 05.11.07 with Blacksn0w RC2:

Jailbreak iPhone 3GS with Pwnage Tool Bundle.
Open Cydia and go to manage.
Tap Edit and add repo http://cydia.pushfix.info.
Search and install Blacksn0w RC2.

Restart your iPhone.

This is not the official release of the unlock. Official launch is expected in couple of week’s time. It is also said that this unlock is a bit slow. So either wait for the official or just walk around with this unlock for couple of weeks. I will prefer the latter.
