If you own an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS (old bootrom)with iOS 4 running on it and use unlocked phone, then here is the good news for you. iPhone Dev Team has released much awaited Pwnage tool 4.0, which can be used to jailbreak iOS 4. However, Redsn0w is yet to be released, but Pwnage Tool 4.0 lets you preserve your baseband, so that you can unlock your iPhone with unlock tools like Ultrasn0w 0.93.
However, Pwnage Tool 4.0 is available for Mac only. So, Windows users kindly wait for the final version of RedSn0w.
