Make Calls From iPod Touch Using Jajah [not available yet]
Jajah has unveiled a iPod Touch application through which you will be able to make and receive calls just like iPhone, the only requirement is that you must be having a active Wi-Fi connection as the application uses VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) for making calls and sending text messages. But don’t be excited yet as the app is not released and there is uncertainty whether Apple will allow its inclusion in App store.
If the application ever gets released then to make calls from your iPod Touch you will have to pay a monthly fees before you can start making calls to other mobile carriers.

I can’t wait for this app. I hope they let it on Apple. I use Verizon as my phone carrier and love them but sure wish they had the Iphone.
