Temporary Solutions for Faulty iPhone 4 Proximity Sensor
Faulty proximity sensor is one of the few problems with iPhone 4. This annoying issue first seemed to be related with the hardware, but now it looks to be software bug. According to MacWorld, there are some solutions which can temporarily solve this issue.
1. Reset Network Settings: This trick will reset all your network settings like network passwords, VPN settings, and APN settings. Go to Settings >> Reset >> Network Settings to try this trick.
2. Reset All: This tweak will set your phone to default factory settings without affecting your personal data. Go to Settings >> Reset >> Reset All Settings to try this trick.
3. Reboot iPhone: This is the simplest of all tricks, and you just need to restart your iPhone 4 for trying this trick.
Apple has not commented upon this issue yet, but we hope that they will fix this bug in their upcoming update for iOS 4.
