Boost Performance of iPhone 3G Running iOS 4
If you are using iPhone 3G, and running iOS 4 on it, then you must be getting irritated by the slow speed of the device. Fortunately, some guys at ModMyi has found a tweak to speed up iPhone 3G running iOS 4. You just need to toggle off the search features that you do not use.
Step by step process:
- Open Settings >> General >> Spotlight Search.
- Uncheck unwanted search features.
Here are the before and after screenshots:

There is also another method to free up RAM. Just jailbreak iPhone 3G with Redsn0w 5b-5, and disable features you don’t need, even battery percentage. Install Features or zToggle from Cydia, and toggle these features as and when required. You will notice a lot of free memory.
