I wanted to jailbreak and upgrade to 2.0 on my ipod touch – Can someone give me some advice? I had the 1.1.5 version on my ipod touch, I was advised on the instructions to downgrade to 1.1.4, which I did. Then updoad the http://upload.to/file/ih0z65/iPod1,_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw – I saved the file then went back into windows and did the same routine as I did in the 1.1.4 version. I have an error that keeps saying every time a retry Unknown error has occurred (1403). I have windows and have done the method for windows. I have backed up all my music too. How can I get this to work, any suggestions would be greatful? Thanks

Upgread to 2.2 then download quickpwn on your computer and plug in your ipod touch and then follow the instuctions and it should jail break and u will have a 2.2 version it still works even if u have the 2.0 version. If you have already jail broken it and it is buggy and sometimes restarts by itself then restore your ipod and then use quickpwn geranted to be less buggy and can do more stuff plz email me if you have any questions or comments

alright, well i have an ipodtouch 1st gen 1.1.5 and i am trying to jailbreak it for my little sister. but the problem is that idk how so please message me back ASAP and give me a breif tutorial on how to jailbreak and what to download and i have itunes 8.0 and windows vista.

Ok i have the 3.0 on my itouch and i had Cydia but after it froze up on me i had to restore my itouch its still at 3.0 but now i don’t have Cydia on my itouch anymore.. now how do i get that back on my itouch with installer and another thing how do you add games i downloaded a few it has the little ipa on it so i know its the right one i drag it into itunes app. and it gives me an error i also have that WINSCP did that and nothing need help..
i cant instal enything enymore with cydia i open it up it says
you need to upgrade essetals
so i just click upgrade all
then were it should install on the blackscreen part
a nother box pops up saying

it opens and closes bout 10 times
WHAT HAPPENED it never insatallls

hey, i am new to jailbreaking and stuff. ok i used blackra1n to jailbreak ipod ,now the problem is if i turn it complete off it goes into restore mode and cant turn back on unlesss i restore can this be fixed, also in cydia some apps dont work at all like winterboard and bosspaper and 5 icon dock and spring bored, Can this be fixed also many of the sources listed above dont work i did copy them exactly as they appear and they just wont load up. i have a ipod touch 3rd gen (ithink) i got it sept 17 of this year 32gb PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can not get ihalo to work download was fine and when it opened up it ceased 2 seconds later running on 3.1.2 firmware
rebel. if your using blackrain every time itunes tells you to restore, you have to re-run blackrain and everything you had will be saved.

But i need your help.
I have some question about Cydia.
1)I reinstalled Cydia and in “packages” there are no longer my installed app displayed!!!? Are they deleted? Or i can just can’t see them because i reinstall Cydia?
2)How can i find, for example “app sync” in my iphone? I use ifunbox, but i cant find them?
3)How can i find my installed system progs and app, like Cydelete, Hackulous security?
4)If i install second time, then on my iphone will be Two Hackulous security app?

I have an iPhone 2G with 2.1 OS and didn’t add installer and Cydia when I unlocked and jailbroke it. Since then there has been a 3G added to the household and now I cannot even figure out how to add CYDIA to the 2G. ANy simple fixes please help!

to install hack apps from itunes you need to download app sync 3.1 or 3.0 depending on firmware from cydia.

i just jail broke my itouch 3.1.3 and wento to cydia to get hackulo so i went to sources clicked edit then add and tyrped in cydia.hackulo.us and it said did not find repository what do i do
i try installing the source”cydia.hackulo.us” but i cant find the appsync and i always get errors during installation
