Apple Will Soon Release a Patch For PDF Exploit
iPhone Dev Team recently released JailbreakMe 2.0 for iOS 4, which actually takes advantage of a venerability in the operating system, where it automatically downloads any PDF file without the user’s consent. This is the reason why iPhone Dev Team warned jailbreakers to not open any suspicious PDF file. This flaw is so serious that German government officially warned its citizens.

Yesterday, one of the Apple spokesperson told CNET that they already knew about this security hole, and they have even developed a fix for the same which will be made available in the next firmware update.
So, it is advised to jailbreakers that they do not install the upcoming update from Apple. Also, if you are planning to buy an iPhone 4 and want to jailbreak it, then buy it now, else you will get stuck with this latest firmware.
