id Software Demoed RAGE for iPhone at QuakeCon 2010 [Video]
id Software was developing RAGE, an fps-cum-racing genre, for console and PC when they got this idea of developing the game for iPhone platform. They started working on this new version of the game, and they did well, actually very well. RAGE runs at a eye-soothing frame rate of 60 per second on iPhone 4 (it will also run on iPhone 2G). Additionally, id Software didn’t compromised with the graphics quality to achieve this frame rate, in fact, graphically RAGE is the best game i have seen for iPhone, courtesy “Mega-Texture” feature.

RAGE for iPhone will release sometime at the end of this year, while it’s second iteration will make its way during 2011, along with the first console version. There are no words about the pricing yet.
