Video Streaming Problem on iPod Touch [Only Sound No Video]
There might be times when you wish to stream video on your iPod Touch from various websites on the Internet but your iPod Touch screen will be blank and black and you can only hear sounds in the clips, and sometimes the same clip runs very well on your iPod Touch.
How to solve Streaming video problem on iPod Touch and iPhone:
Only stream from video sites that provides video files in .mp4 format or next time you face this problem don’t stream the video just download it on your iPod Touch. After downloading, go to any file browsing application and rename the file with .mp4 in the end, if its mp4 already then it will probably run well.

We got our iPod touch a few weeks ago. It seemed that when we got it, there was no problem playing videos from YouTube. When we upgraded to OS 3.1.1, then the same videos would play for about 3 minutes or so, then stop. Any suggestions as to what may be happening?
I just got my itouch (4th gen). I was thrilled to see all of the terrific apps and games. The fatal problem is with video streaming. I don’t know if the processor was too slow in the design or it is just me. The iPod touch in general is a melarvelous specimen of modern technological gadgetry with the exception of the glaring flaw, scratch on a CD, EPIC FAIL of video streaming via YouTube or whatever.

it makes no sense to me that you can stream videos off youtube, which is flash, but you can’t stream videos off any other flash based websites. apple is holding back a lot of functions like that, also the bluetooth, i wonder if they have contracts with youtube and nike, and more importantly if they’ll run up soon and stop holding back this stuff! imagine being able to use your cellphones bluetooth headset to make wifi VoIP calls on your touch?
