New iPod Nano Launched At Apple Event [Specs and Features]
The new iPod Nano was that 3cm x 3cm touchscreen device, that we saw in the Taiwanese leak. This new iPod Nano is like a small iPod Touch. iPod Nano no longer has click wheel, and it completely works on touch now, in fact it supports multi-touch. The only hard buttons in new iPod Nano are the volume buttons.
Furthermore, this gadget is 46% smaller and 42% lighter than its predecessor. Just like iPod Shuffle, it too has got a clip (no more armband) to attach itself. It has got good battery life too, and offer 24 hours playback time. Amazingly, it can work in 29 different languages, giving even more flexibility to the device.
iPod Nano is available in 6 colors, viz., pink, green, grey, orange, black, and yellow. It will cost you $149 for the 8GB version and $179 for the 16GB version. No more versions were announced, so i think that new iPod Nano will be available only in 2 variants.
