Running Wikipedia on your iPod Touch

Patrick Collinson has created a very neat application that allows you to run an offline version of WikiPedia on your iPhone. All of the images and extra fluff has been removed, leaving you with just the textual content and the hyperlinks. For those people who find themselves addicted to learning about random stuff, then the application is perfect.
The WikiPedia application is a hefty 2GB even without all of the multimedia content. So you’ll probably want a 32GB model of the iPod Touch so that you don’t use up all of your storage space! The stability isn’t great, but if you’re dealing with 2GB of data on a small low power processor, you don’t expect it to be perfect in version one.
Found thanks to Apple Touch.
