Using an iPod Touch as a Wireless Touchpad

With the wifi aspect of the iPod Touch, its no surprise that it lends itself to being a great remote control. If you haven’t ever used VNC before, the Touchpad for iPod Touch program allows you to remotely control a desktop on a range of platforms over a network, using your local keyboard and mouse as if you were sat at that computer. This application is an iPod Touch VNC client that allows you to remotely control the desktop of a remote system.
You can move the mouse cursor around, double-click and drag-n-drop. Clearly you don’t have a normal keyboard, but this would lend itself to a very remote control system for your home!
