iPad UI theme for iPod Touch & iPhone
With the release date of iPad nearing, that is 3rd April, many iPad UI themes have been developed for iPod Touch & iPhone. One such theme is developed by graphic designer, Ryan Kelley.
The theme is in beta version at the moment & is free to download, moreover, the theme is strictly beta and is only for UI, hence you will need to install other iPad themes like ‘”Simple iPad Theme”. You need a jailbroken iPod Touch/iPhone to install this iPad theme. Theme can be installed by following these steps:
- Download the zip file from the following link http://www.ryankelly.me/downloads/iPadUIBeta.zip
- Unzip the file
- Access root folder, via SSH
- Go to Library/themes
- Drop the unzipped folder
- Go to Winterboard & select the theme
- Exit Winterboard
Unfortunately, in my case, Winterboard crashed badly and never recovered, its still in safe mode and I failed to see the theme on iPod Touch 2G. So try it at your own risk, if it works for you, let me know in comments.
