Wireless Charger for iPhone/Pod Touch: Case-mate Hug
According to me, wireless charging devices are one of the best accessories for iPhone/iPod Touch, as most of us hate those clutters of wires. With wireless charging, you can charge your iPhone/iPod Touch by just putting it on a charging pad.
Case-mate showcased Hug During CES this year, which is a wireless charging system for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch. It uses Wireless Power Consortium standard, which is a standard for wireless technology, so there will be no compatibility issues with devices using the same standard.
Case-mate Hug is made from injection-molded material , and it comes with a screen protector to give proper security to your device. It also automatically stops charging when the iPhone/iPod Touch battery becomes fully charged.
However, there are some drawbacks in Hug, one, you cannot sync your data without removing its case from your device, and two, it makes a very low ticking noise(like a watch) while charging.
It is available for $99.99 at http://hug.case-mate.com/ . Some cases for Blackberry devices will also be launched soon.
Below is the brief review & un-boxing video of Case-mate Hug:

Looks nice… not sure if I could cope with a ticking noise though. Whilst I get the idea of having wireless to do these things, I can’t help but think its overkill. I’m happy using a charger, I’ll bet its way more efficient and I don’t need to worry about all those electromoagnetic waves travelling around!
