Change iPhone/iPod Touch Screen Values: Fake About Screen
Fake About Screen allows you to set fake values for everything on iPhone/iPod Touch “about” screen, including the number of songs, carrier name, firmware version, storage capacity, etc.
This is very useful app if you want to keep some secrets from other people, or even if you are taking your device to The Genius Bar and want it to look like it’s been restored.
Fake About Screen can be used by following these simple steps:
- Launch Winterboard (Winterboard can be downloaded from Cydia)
- Select Fake About.
- Press home button & Respring your device.
- Go to Settings.app >> General >> About.
Now you can edit the values the way you want.
Fake About Screen is a free app & can be downloaded via Cydia under MMI Repo.
