At Last! BBC iPlayer for the iPod Touch

After weeks of waiting, the BBC’s internet download service the iPlayer has finally been released for the iPod Touch and iPhone. Having used the iPlayer on Windows for a couple of weeks, I’m already impressed by the huge range of downloadable programmes available from the BBC for free (well, that’s the reason for the licence fee!).
There are 2 versions available of the iPlayer. One downloads the files onto a Windows-based PC, and the other allows you to stream the content directly on to the iPlayer. If you want some more juicy technical detail, take a look at the BBC blog.

Most of the advertisements we are seeing these days on the televisions boast about the never ending power supplies of electronics. First nokia phones and now even motorola phones have come up with similar solutions for batteries.

Nice – but every show I try to watch tells me it’s UK only. Presumably filtering by IP. Did I just pick 5 unfortunate picks or is this a UK only app?
