Last Minute Changes in iPad [Mute Button Replaced with Screen Rotation Lock]
Accelerometer is a very cool addition to the iPod Touch and iPhone, because of which we can have autorotation capability in our device, but this gets really irritating when screen rotates even when you don’t want it to.
This problem surrounded iPod Touch & iPhone right from the beginning. So considering this, Apple took a brave decision and replaced mute button with a screen rotation lock in iPad, at the last moment.
However, people using jailbroken iPhone & iPod Touch were already using Rotation Inhibitor, which is available as a SBSetting toggle. But still i will welcome this new addition from Apple, and hope to see the same change in next version of iPhone.
Apple has added some other features as well, like you can switch audio to a single channel only. iBooks are also included as a default feature.
If we get further news about any other change, we will let you know ASAP.
