Free Jailbreaking Software for iPod Touch: Redsn0w Version 0.7.2 Download
First iPod Touch 2G jailbreak software Redsn0w version 0.7 got released which did nothing but crashed, then comes version 0.7.1 which works fine for majority of people including me but there were reports of booting problems, device getting stuck mid way during the jailbreak process etc. So now iPhone Dev Team has released another Redsn0w version 0.7.2. If you haven’t already jailbreaked your iPod Touch yet, do so with the latest version which is expected to be bug free.

HEEELLLLLPPPPI love redsnow jailbreak, but this version is not working for me for some reason. After putting the Ipod in DFU mode, the redsnow program freezes and closes. I have windows vista btw. Please help. Thank you.
Im still somewhat skeptical about the 3.0 firmware. Does anyone know if its too buggy to run properly?
the redsnow is not workin for me. After u put it on the dfu mode its starts the process and then it says its done but whats happens is that my ipods screen turns black n the pineapple doesnt not appear so i have to tunr it off in order for it to work n when it tunr on again its not jailbreaked

How do you download this on to your computer? When I try to install after download, it just says it cannot find the correct file to open. Help?

I tried updating my Iphone 2g to 3.1.2 using redsN0w 0.9.2
and each time it would crash while JAILBREAKING.
Redsnow would shutdown on me giving a weird Windows error.
I managed to fix redsnow by changing its properties settings to RUN AS XP instead of Windows7 which is installed on my laptop.
Running as XP solved the redsnow crash problem!
I cannot succesfully jailbreak my iphone 3g.
I have windows vista 32 bits, im using redsn0w 0.2.7, and the correct firmware (3.0), i have itunes 8.2, i followed the steps correctly, and tryed about 15 times, and everytime i try it get stucked on “waiting for reboot”.
This sh1t does not works.
