Flytunes Internet Radio: How to get unlimited free music for life on your iPod Touch
So how would you like to have over 20000+ radio stations that could be customized to your personal tastes; and give you the option of rewinding or fast forwarding through a station?
Flytunes is a new service that claims to do all of these things and more and Flytunes 1.0 for iPhone/Touch will be released on January 21, 2008. Flytunes plays everywhere
This is a totally new music service for iPhones, No Monthly fees, more than 100x as many stations as satelite radio, No hardware, the ability to cache (save to disk) a radio broadcast and then listen to it later.
Basically this is how the service works
1. You go to the flytunes.fm site on Jan 21, 2008 and get the free download for Flytunes
2. The Software is downloaded to your PC and provides an interface to use while you are connected to your device.
3. You can select genre based channels or create your own by entering in some artists that you like.
4. Flytunes creates your own personal channel based on your preferences and as you go you can pick songs you like and give them ratings to be played more often.
5. You can pre-cache (save to disk) as much music on your device as you like for listening while you are away from an internet connection; Flytunes automatically pre-caches 30 minutes of radio times which helps reduce battery drain on your device as well.
All I have to say about this service is it looks like a genius idea and could really change things is the satelite radio industry.
This could potentially destroy the satelite radio industry as Flytunes is offering what seems to be a better service than satelite radio and at zero cost.

something is wrong with the address because on the site no where you can download the file, Maybe I missed it but all I keep coming up with is the contest page

I got flytunes for touch today and there is only about 20 radio stations on there and I havent herd of any of them
I live in England and think most radio stations are American as today they were talking about superbowl
you are indeed right because I got the email and all is good once again in the world… or at best the internet
I just got my email to register a couple days ago & everything is working fine for me. Loads quick, sounds good, easy enough.
