iPod Touch Tricks: Your 3G iPod Touch for Surfing Outside using Joiku
The iPod Touch trick lies in using another Wi-Fi enabled mobile and converting it into a hotspot to which our iPod Touch will connect to access the web or for making calls. Things required are : Any Wi-Fi enabled mobile, Joiku and iPod Touch. Joiku is mobile application which turns your handset into a mobile hotspot. Mitchell at Geardiary has used the method successfully using E71i and iPod Touch.
The setup is same as on the home Wi-Fi router and you should have no problem surfing the web and for making calls you have to install third party apps like skype. Head over to Geardiary for full story.
