VoIP Support on iPod Touch 2G Confirmed
The new version of iPod Touch which was released day before yesterday contains promising hardware to enable VoIP( Voice over Internet Protocol) through which you will be able to make low cost or free calls over Wi-Fi. The new iPod Touch 2G comes with 5 wires connected to the Touch headphone jack, the 1st gen iPod Touch uses 4 wires, thus the device now has support for external microphone included in headsets.
Now we just need the software for iPod Touch 2G for VoIP telephony. via CultofMac
