How to Unlock iPhone OS 4.0 with Ultrasn0w 0.92
Yesterday, we told you about the jailbreaking for iPhone 3G running iPhone OS 4.0 with Redsn0w 0.9.5. Now, you can also unlock iPhone 3G OS 4.0 with Ultrasn0w. After jailbreaking iPhone 3G, you can use Ultrasn0w to unlock it. However, the thing to note here is that iPhone 3G should have 05.08 boot loader.
Steps to unlock iPhone 3G OS 4.0:
- Jailbreak iPhone 3G, by following this tutorial.
- Downgrade iPhone 4.0 with Fuzzyband Downgrader.
- Go to Cydia >> Manage >> Edit >> Add.
- Enter http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com.
- Tap Add Source.
- Now search Ultrasn0w and install it.
- Restart iPhone.
NOTE: Disable 3G before installing Ultrsn0w, if you are a T-Mobile.
Now, you have successfully unlocked your iPhone 3G OS 4.0. Enjoy.
